That’s a labor union and doesn’t include all federal workers. Would be surprised that most public labor union workers are dems, and I also wouldn’t be surprised if the far majority of veterans (about 30% of the federal workforce) employed by the federal government are republican. It will vary by agency. The DOD is the largest agency. You think the DOD employees more dems than republicans? Of course not.

At the end of the day, the people who work for the government are your friends and neighbors. Does your political view change the way you work? Theirs likely doesn’t either. They are not the enemy. If they are fired or work from the office instead of working from home will not impact any of our lives whatsoever.

Just another way to keep people angry.

Government should not be immune to being efficient and needing to rightsize when necessary. It’s not about who they voted for or who is your neighbor. Some agencies outlive their usefulness and others grow beyond what is cost effective.
