I want people to remember Veer Singh is a Four-star recruit and considered the second best recruit from Louisiana behind Brandon Sampson according to ESPN since he was born there. I think that Veer will surprise some people and have a productive career at the Hall.

Honestly, while the Class isn't as good as last year obviously, this is coach Willards second best class and Veer is ranked in the top 100 for 2015 according to rivals

remember he had offers from Villanova, Virginia, Cincinnati, Oregon State, Creighton, Temple, etc.

Singh isn't in anyone's Top 150. Rivals has him as a 3-star.

Decent and useful player though, just not highly ranked, more like Top 200.

I would assume your ranking would drop if you reclassify to an earlier admission to college. Being that the rankings were expecting him to be 2016

He is not in Scout's 2016 class because he reclassed to the 2015 class.

Shoregold Finally some positive vibes about next season on this forum!! Good to see and hear!!

Can anyone compare his game to a former Pirate player? Any similarities to Art Karnishovas?

From what I have seen, his game reminds me more of Donnel Williams. He is a guy that likes to stay out on the perimeter and shoots it and shoot it well. Donnel was one of those players that could have been so much better had he played for PJ. He should went inside into the post but preferred staying on the perimeter.

Veer needs to avoid that trap of just staying out on the perimeter. He has some size so he can have mismatches if he can go inside as well. I actually like Singh a lot and he has a lot of potential.

But, Singh is not a signature recruit but he is this year for the Hall.

Oh come on. The kid is a very good pickup for us. He will help immediately and the addition of he and Nzei and hopefully one of the frosh will really help us. No he is not an Isaiah or Angel level but he is a solid pickup

He's nothing like Donnell Williams, he's purely outside with a little bit of midrange. No physicality to his game. Solid Top 200 player.

I wonder how Donnell would have developed if PJ stayed. His shooting became a great weapon but he was never as much an inside threat as I thought he would be. I will be darned happy if veer gives us that kind of shooting. If only PJ had the 94 team he was planning with donnell, Lu and DH...oh well. ..ancient history
