There is also an open scrimmage for the Women's team today in Walsh (1:30 start).Tomorrow guys. Hopefully we'll get as many fans to attend as possible.
If they wanted a big turnout all season ticket buyers should be included.Tomorrow guys. Hopefully we'll get as many fans to attend as possible.
It was a reward for those purchasing season tickets early. Good incentive. If they wanted a big turnout all season ticket buyers should be included.
After a season ending like last, with so many disgusted by us keeping our coach, sorry, awful time to ignore other season ticket holders. Maybe some take this as incentive. But for me, it just pisses me off.It was a reward for those purchasing season tickets early. Good incentive.
The school already had a open 20 minute scrimmage for everyone. And they have an exhibition game coming up next Saturday vs. Baruch.

I would have gone to the 20 minute practice if I didn't have a 2 hours round trip. And I have bought my Walsh tickets. But I still think this was stupid marketing decision at a time such as now.
Agree...this was not a smart decision by the Hall. Well-intended, but a poor call. I'm sure 75 isn't the only pissed off season ticket holder.
Exactly...short sighted idea.If you're a season ticket holder, aren't you insulted enough already??
Lol Funny lineIf you're a season ticket holder, aren't you insulted enough already??
I'm not saying it was wrong. If you're a Seton Hall season ticket holder, you've been getting punched in the face for years. You're like the abused who refuses to leave. If you buy season tickets at any time, you're complicit in the beatings. Shut up and take your punishment. Season ticket sales are up, that sends the message that all is OK.
Imo, you want to show the team they are popular and having few (er) fans in the seats - and turnout looked sparse to me from the pictures I saw - is not good for anyone.
What? Because they pony up the bucks earlier they're more engaged. Maybe there are financial reasons involved when renewing. Nonsense.I think it's the right call to reward the most loyal fans. The early season ticket holders are your most engaged. Makes sense to me.
Open practice has usually been a perk for season ticket holders. No one said they were changing the rules this year. I think it is bad marketing. After last season, they may be appreciative we renewed at any time. And having more fans there is always better. But I agree, not a big deal.Man, what a bunch of whiners. There are several opportunities (at least 3 that I can think of) to see the team before they take the floor on November 13. This particular one was for a certain group of people that met a certain requirement. If you wanted to attend this particular event, then you should have met the requirement. If you didn't renew early, but still want to see the team in the preseason, then you should have attended the open practice during University Weekend, or attend the exhibition this Saturday. Pretty simple really, not sure why so many people are complaining about it.
If that is the case, I am all wet on this. This was part of the promotion where those who paid $150.00 early were eligible to win a prize every day in the month of I think May. The open practice was part of the same promotion. A fun event and a very nice jesture by SHU athletics and seton hall basketball.
Maybe. I remember going with a friend years ago when I did not have season tickets. But enough on this from me. I really don't care much though I do think it stupid.Actually 75 for the past 2 seasons it was a prize for the hd1 pirate crew-pirate blue donation challenge.
