He has a bad shoulder. Sha talked about it. I assume that is the issue.

a team like SHU is expected to compete in the big east with a scary small budget. it lends itself to taking flyers on damaged goods with potential talent.
I find it disrespectful to insinuate that Dual is anything other than hurt.

Sha said after the game that he played Dual more than he was supposed to with his ailing shoulder but that he badly needed someone who can handle the ball.
Dual able to play PG at even a mediocre level allows Chaunce and Dylan to play their natural off-ball positions and the offense able to run smoother.

Oh it can get much worse with this roster.
Dual may not be filling the stat sheet yet but he at least controls some flow.
Dual was all over the board last night, 6pts (2-6, 0-1, 2-4 shooting) 4ast 3 TO.

Dual played a good game last night. Not perfect. Not high stats. But led us to a win over a good team.
Perhaps the goal is to rest him tonight and tomorrow and play him Sunday. Really need to win 2 out of 3 this weekend and VCU metrics-wise is the toughest opponent we will play this weekend.

Dual's game was another mismosh of good/bad.
Agree - Dual handled the ball well and allowed our scorers to score. He penetrated and made some nice dishes too that were not converted by our shooters. He would have had more assists if our guys could hit easy shots. Aligbe needs to score on those easy ones. He hurts my eyes when he shoots and tries to dribble. Good rebounder though. Gonna be tough to win tonight without a PG on the floor.
FWIW, Dual had the highest +/- last night with +9 during his 32 minutes on the floor.
He was only 2/6 from the floor and 2/4 FT with 4 assists to 3 turnovers, but also made 3 steals and blocked a shot.

This team needs Dual to become it's regular PG if we want to do anything this season IMO. Hoping that shoulder heals and he's back in action soon or it could be a long year.
not baseless. we have had so many whacky behind the scenes stuff happen over the years. including with sha. harmon right now, general soreness last year.
Easily his best game so far. Far from perfect for sure, but measurably better. We'll miss him today if that report is accurate.
So 25 minutes instead of 31 means he wouldn’t be hurt today? Or is 26 minutes okay? Or is it all new age nonsense ?
Or maybe after playing 25 minutes, he strained or injured it more than it was. Everybody wants to be a doctor.
Are you really unfamiliar with the concept of aggravating an injury by overdoing it and subsequently resting to avoid further harm?
What for? We need a PG that can complete passes....
