Dual was No. 10 in a 2024 mock draft done by The Athletic in the summer of 2023. At the time he was very highly thought of by NBA scouts. He clearly hasn't lived up to that lofty evaluation. As a Seton Hall fan, you have to hope his development begins to move in the right direction.

FWIW, Scotty Middleton was No. 30 in the same mock.

Really, this shows how difficult it is to project how players will develop as they move up in competition.
