Elijah Fisher Commits to The Hall

Once again we dip into mid-major land. Slightly better than the others committed so far (except Clark) but once again a poor three point shooter. Shoots free throws well. Has a negative assist to turnover ratio. Wishing him well in his return to the Big East.

Getting DePaul retreads is not a good sign.

But welcome aboard Elijah. Here’s for hoping maturity and experience come along.

Excellent athlete, good slasher and finisher at the rim. Good FT shooter who gets to the line often. Not rated as a strong defender, not a playmaker. Not a good 3-pt shooter. He's played for 2 horrendous teams the last 2 years in Pacific and DePaul.

He's another guy who likes to attack the basket. As I've said before, it appears Sha is looking for this trait in players this year.

Rated as a high 3-star transfer, #260 by EvanMiya.

Not mad at this....upgrade over Middleton and hopefully his senior yr clicks and he puts it all together
Not even sure he’s an upgrade over Middleton for this particular roster based on what Middleton can do or project to do and what this kid does. Vaguely remember him from that awful Depaul team two years ago. He is definitely an “athlete” that can attack the rim though. Probably my second favorite signing thus far after Clark.

By my count, now eight on the roster with six rotation players (Until they show it, not including Felton or Rivera in that number). Sha really needs to get two more legitimate players, with one being a PF/C.

He’s def an upgrade over Middleton. Middleton was more hype than game. Fisher does everything better except shoot the 3.

Seems like sha is spreading it out with no 1 alpha player. What happens when our typical offense gets stagnant. Whos getting a bucket?

Seems like there’s a few players that can create their own shot off the dribble or drive to the basket. And if they draw fouls, at least it looks like they can make their FT’s.

Now we need a legit power forward and a wing that can fill it up from 3. If we have 3 million left in the kitty, split it between those 2 players.

Welcome Elijah -- would be nice if The Program evidenced any excitement /promotion of our new Pirates. Appreciate that Fishjam is trying so hard to cast some sunshine .

Welcome Elijah! I heard you came here for the education! As Tony the Tiger says "It's great!"

Put the ball in the hoop efficiently and we will love you!

Welcome to The Hall. Could be a decent
Player. So we will root for him

We will need to add some height to this Roster.

Honestly and without bias... Someone tell me why we won't finish last in TBEC by a wide margin again.
We have not really moved the needle so far with respect to all of the BE stats we were last in or near last the past season. In fact if 3 point shooting could get even worse, it just did with all of the kids coming in so far who are not good at all. Scary what the offensive plan might be. Weave and then in the last few seconds drive and try to get a shot off near the basket that is packed with opposing players who are not playing to defend the 3 knowing you can't make them.
