Well, what are the expectations for next year? I know the roster is not set as of yet but we can begin to speculate. I would say that Seton Hall will be at the bottom of the conference and will be in rebuild mode. The lack of progression from Tyrese Samuel has been concerning. Rhoden has been very inconsistent and I just don't see him as a top tier player although he will be our best player going into next year. Ike needs to get better. He should be a dominate center. Yet he is not. Who is left on the roster that you can count on to contribute? Not much. If Reynolds comes back you have a person that you can rely on.

So, if I am Willard. I am going to rebuild around my freshman and hand them the keys as my starting backcourt. Conway PG, Weston 2G. The rest of the lineup is Rhoden, Samuel and Ike. Bench is is very thin even if Reynolds comes back. You have Tray Jackson at the 4 but no one else in the front court. Ngandu is a mystery. Therefore, Willard needs some transfers to play immediately. I don't expect much from either Long or Stevens. Willard needs a huge recruitment haul for 2022. Otherwise, the Hall is on the precipice of a huge fall.
