Was just thinking FAU should play hack a Toumi. Worst hall free throw shooter in recent memory. Don't think you can rent him on the court in crunch time

Take the win but last eight minutes was bad basketball. 2-1 in tournament is respectable showing. Escaped tonight.
Very fortunate to escape that one. Why have Coleman, a guy who can hit free throws, impounding to Prince, a guy who can't?

Ouch. We did almost everything to give the game away. FAU has only themselves to blame. Seton Hall is like that student that skips enough classes and doesn’t hand in enough assignments that the professor barely passes them at the eleventh hour.
Yes, they were well represented. Respect to the fans who made it.
Who drew up that inbound play????? They (the coaching staff) did everything possible to give that one away.
Take the win. Terrible defense letting FAU get to the basket at will the last 8 minutes. Also not recognizing the 3 pt shooter the next to last possession even if he was ice cold up to then. Terrible last possession by FAU.
You only get the team you can buy. Dismiss the NIL as much as you want. We have meatloaf budget and a fan base that wants filet.
Not an ideal finish but any SHU fan would’ve taken 2-1 at the start of this tournament. Still need to run the table in the rest non conference play to have a chance at salvaging the season.

Better yet, why is Prince even in the game when you know they’re going to foul him?
So, Holloway said let's not play the leading scorer in the first half for a good portion of the second half. He then made up an excuse that he suffered an injury. Makes sense.
Guess the pain was gone after the first 8-10 minutes in the 2nd half when he came in and played aggressive D. It’s clear he’s one of the few who knows how to play the game. Didn’t force a shot, moves the ball. After that excellent first half he touched the ball once on the offensive end in the 2nd half and made an aggressive drive and great dish for a - wait for it - missed layup by Toumi (?).
Good to get the win, unfortunately playing like we did today will continue to allow teams like Vandy to wax the floor with us. We have a lot to improve on to not finish tenth and hopefully we can focus on ourselves the next 2 games considering their combined record is 0-14 currently
