1) Sha was nervous about this game - FDU's pace, press, scrappiness and ability to score. The team responded and came out with strong effort from the jump and controlled the game.
2) The defensive effort was good but was most impressed by our rebounding. 61-28! Many were because our size advantage but we also got many on hustle and effort. Didn't see that vs St.Peter's. Everyone crashed hard and seemed we came up with all the 50/50s.
3) Bediako was good in an awkward match-up. I thought he might have trouble with the 5-out offense but he was in the right spots and made the appropriate switches. Showed off his good hands offensively and on the boards. Double-Double in just 16 minutes.
4) Our 3-pt shooting was not good. A lot of hesitant shots. Be ready to shoot before you catch and let it go.
5) Dawes did a good job defensively on their PG. Offensively, he continues to mix good play and bad play. At this point, he is who he is and we have to hope his offensive outbursts outweigh questionable shot selection and out of control dribbling in traffic.
6) Our 4-man rotation off the bench all got some good game experience.
