FedEx has pledged $25 million under NIL to Memphis over the next 5 years . This is the type of relationship that Seton Hall needs to establish with commercial enterprises.
Mike? Dan?And how does it not start big with Newark native and arena sponsor Prudential.
Already gave it to Rutgers. I say turnabout is fair play and we go after Jersey Mike's lolMike? Dan?
Not acceptable considering we play at The Pru. Big miss here by SHU.Already gave it to Rutgers. I say turnabout is fair play and we go after Jersey Mike's lol

You saw the reply on the Trove with Mike McBride.Mike? Dan?
The Pope blew us off. ☹️How about the Vatican
Well at least the other Pope was with us on our NIT title run!The Pope blew us off. ☹️
No different then what has been happening the last 10 years or so. It's just now it's above board.FedEx has pledged $25 million under NIL to Memphis over the next 5 years . This is the type of relationship that Seton Hall needs to establish with commercial enterprises.
With that same amount of money it would allow us to do much more across the board for all of our sports. Let’s not be afraid of success! And we don't need nearly that much because no football and less sports.
How the hell do we let that happen!? 😡 That’s unacceptable!Already gave it to Rutgers. I say turnabout is fair play and we go after Jersey Mike's lol
Prudential and Prudential Center (Josh Harris) are two different things.Rutgers already tapped Prudential. Not sure how you measure success for Mike McBride, but most objective way is running tally of $ commitments via collectives/sponsorship opportunities, etc..
We don't exactly have much leverage thereHow the hell do we let that happen!? 😡 That’s unacceptable!
Once again, two different things. It’s super easy we just call up Charles Lowery. Hey Charlie bunch of seton hall fans on pirate crew were hoping you could cut a quick check for 20M. Also the pretzels are too expensive and the lights are too bright.
Once again, two different things.
Memphis football does surprisingly well from an attendance and TV perspective. Averaged over 30k per game this past season. There’s also the football aspect to it.
No one at shu tells pru how to spend their money. Bodies talk and they have ten times more. How the hell do we let that happen!? 😡 That’s unacceptable!
What exactly is our leverage? We will go play at the Trenton arena? No one at shu tells pru how to spend their money. Bodies talk and they have ten times more.
It’s not. Harris owns the Prudential Center and the Devils, so filling the seats for both is good business.Same idea, all these things are complex and take time. I sell software and boy do I wish I could just say something outloud and the deal closes.
Did SHU even ask!?No one at shu tells pru how to spend their money. Bodies talk and they have ten times more.
Did SHU even ask!?
Also, while their alumni base may be bigger their fan base is not. Never has been.
Of course Mike is talking to corporate partners. I highly recommend you attend one of our NIL events. They are fun, informative and support the cause.
Football.Did SHU even ask!?

They get over 30,000 for football games.Did SHU even ask!?

The University has a very strong fan base. For many years they were the only game in town. The football team churns out consistent winning seasons in a non-NFL city. Even now, with the Grizzlies, the basketball program does well.Memphis football does surprisingly well from an attendance and TV perspective. Averaged over 30k per game this past season.
They advertise where SHU plays and are Newark natives. They have deep pockets which is why you ask them to help. Some people on here act like Prudential owns the arena, they pay the Devils /arena to advertise which has little to do with SHU in grand scheme of things.
They may have contributed to Rutgers NIL for multiple reasons, which are independent of SHU as well.
