Anyone know the story here? If they are not there, are they ill? I didn’t hear any of that on the pregame with Popkin

Both are on the bench in uniform. Sha’s going with some odd rotations.

Half the mid majors we lose to the other half we barely beat. Brutal team to watch.
Gus also. Not sure? He just wants the win and that's probably it. Never played Felton, Middleton and Godswill together. Oh well. Win is a win. How many more this season????

Ok. Someone else who was at the game posted that they weren’t on the bench.

Shortening the rotation has been a necessity.

Not sure Felton should be a victim of that but…guess we’ll see

Gary and Popkin have such patience with Sha post game. It’s so hard to get him to discuss anything in detail. Felton sits because Sha needs to give Dylan time after missing the last game? Guys don’t play and it’s nothing personal? Listening is almost as hard as watching us play right now.

So, I keep asking the same question, what are the goals for the season? Sounds like they are just winging it. Manage each game by feel. The offense reflects that too, just wing it most of the possessions. Aligbe had a nice game, and he deserves credit for tonight. However, SHU was playing an extremely low rated team. The bull rushing mentality is spotty and it may not see good results against larger and more physical teams. I guess they felt shortening the rotation was the best chance for this much needed win.

I think the goal right now is still: Who should be on the court with who and for how long. Other than Coleman and Jenkins, the rest is a complete mess of poor individual play and bad combos.

I am glad to see the rotation reduced as this notion of 10-man is not a good one in the NIL age + player movement at the P6 level. That was fine in the MAAC with player retention.

I agree that trying to have two units has hurt the topline. I'd be more inclined to shorten the rotation, but make sure Felton gets minutes. Should Wusu be injured or have the flu, then you have Dual and Jenkins. Against the BE teams it will get more difficult.

Goal for season is to win 5 games in conference IMO.Likely to not be achieved.
