Time (however unlikely) for Holloway to end the painful Dylan experiment at the point. Coach should bite the bullet and give Felton much more time. Kid passes the eye test and did a nice job with ball movement and actually running an offense. This team isn’t going anywhere so let him learn on the job and hope he actually comes back next year.

I spoke to his parents for a minute after the Vandy game.
Told them he played well and that Sha will keep making him an even better player.
Also joked with them to not let him go anywhere else! His mom laughed and said no we’re not looking for that

Felton definitely looks like the best PG option. That said, it's not like the offense operated that differently with him in most of the time. But he made fewer mistakes and bad decisions.

Were we watching the same game? He operates on a completely different level than Wusu and Dual. Clearly knows what he’s doing. Constantly moving the ball and commanding his teammates and actually attacks the basket. Such a welcome site. Felton had 2 assists in 15 mins compared to Wusu’s 0 assists in 19 mins. Dual also had 0 assists in 8 mins. Night and day with Felton out there.

Dylan has his flaws but brings way more.than dual. I hope to see jahseem startimg to next few games to get him going. Dual needs to take a backseat for now

Still spent most of the time when he had the ball near halfcourt, doing the weave, handing/passing off. He did all of these things better than the others. But it wasn't fundamentally a different system

Clearly the PG of the future and quite honestly the best pure PG on the team as far as handling the ball against pressure and getting into sets in the half court. He has good size and looks like he can hit the outside shot as well. BE ready. I think he should be starting. Him and Coleman will be a nice backcourt going forward

Well, it’s the same coach, so yes it’s the same system. He keeps it moving. Really excited about his future. Wusu and Dual have been so bad that anybody with a point guard pulse is going to shine in comparison. Felton, though, looks like he can be the real deal.

Felton did play well and I want him to play more, but lost in all of this are two really bad pick 6 turnovers in the 2nd half.

He’s a freshman. Those are freshman things that happen that hopefully he will learn from. Sha has to continue to work him in a few more minutes a game. Kid has good instincts and can dish and shoot the three. When was the last time we had a PG that could shoot from distance at a good %? Develop this kid please.

We don’t run plays. We don’t have an offense. Sha was bailed out by having talent so far

Wusu is shooting 40+% from 3…. Why not have him and Felton in there together and try to get Wusu an open look for 3.

If Wusu promises to do absolutely nothing but shoot 3s then maybe he can play. First time he bounces the ball he gets benched.

"We don’t run plays. We don’t have an offense...."

Sounds alarmingly similar to criticism from the Willard era!

I look at Jahseen's situation this way-his 1st significant playing time was with the team at 3-2 vs Vandy. Up until that point, Dual got the start and the minutes[with a little sprin kle of the guy who now seems to be gone]. I give credit to Shaheen for seeing that as a failed experiment, and now incorporating Felton into the mix. I would imagine, going forward, that Jahseen will part of the rotation, and a significant part, from here on in. Also, what happened t o Scott Middleton Sunday night? He was their best player when he got time in the 1st half, then disappeared 'til near the end of the game. What's up with that?

Well he may have made a few mistakes but to be honest so did pretty much everyone that played. So to single him out is BS.
Really?

Read my post again.
I said I want him to play more, but there were some issues being glossed over.
