First double double for Godswill

He's got a lot of potential. If can he develop 1-2 post moves and get good at them, he may be a reliable starter in time.

The light seems to be on now with him, which can happen with freshmen in February. Plus he missed last year with the broken foot (I think that was the injury). Last 2 games:

28 minutes at Georgetown: 4/5, for 8 points and 7 rebounds, 1 BLK, 2 TO, 4 PF playing Sorber.
38 minutes vs. Connecticut: 5/9 for 12 points and 10 rebounds, 2 BLK, only 2 PF playing Johnson/Reed.

Honestly, for a freshman — especially one who missed most of his senior year of high school and who has only been playing the game for a few years — he’s really improved by leaps and bounds over the course of the year. He’s a keeper — I hope.
Besides the Portal we may want to zero in on some high school Seniors in the 2025 class?? Felton did not show up in the stat sheets, but I thought he brought some stability to the court during his minutes. Good to see both guys on the court as first year players.

Godswill is really starting to impress. At all costs, we need to keep him for next year.

Having someone in the post who can score, rebound, block, and box out is what this team has needed all season. Godswill is doing it!
Bigs take Time ( unless You wear a GTown Uni) -- Wish Grant could work with him . His Stock has done a 180

This is the thing. Georgetown used to get those ready-to-go bugs when they were on top of the world. We’ve always had to get them and wait. But this kid has something. He’s not great yet, but he could be. And he’s already serviceable. If he stays healthy and keeps playing over the summer, he could take a big step next year.

I think being a foreign player he is not entitled to get NIL compensation. Must get money in other ways.

Godswill is athletic and has a lot of upside. Glad he's here and starting to show. I really liked how active he was on the boards too and blocking shots. We have needed a pick and roll big all year and he's improving before our eyes. What a difference when you get some points in the paint for the rest of the team.

And I think more than our current other freshman and sophomore, he returns.

Godswill had shown a flash or two of talent in other games but yesterday he put it all together for an extended period. It was fun to watch. He also managed to stay out of foul trouble. Okorafor also played pretty well in his supporting role. Here's hoping both of them finish strong the rest of the way.
