It seems that every decade or so, pro wrestling experiences a renaissance of popularity. I enjoyed it back in the 80s with the likes of Jesse Ventura, Magnificant Muracco, Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, Macho Man Savage, Bobby Hennan, and Hulk Hogan. I obviously knew it to be completely fake and staged but I enjoyed the personalities of wrestlers, managers and the announcers. My favorites were the "heels" or bad guys since I found their unapologetic willingness to cheat, lie, play dirty, brag, insult, etc hilarious.
