So Jack Nicklaus and Jay Cutler have come out and endorsed Trump and the Trump supporters are praising this...so athletes are allowed to have political opinions so long its the incumbent party in office, got it

Pray tell...many here have turned off sports because the performers have a stance on social justice and societal matters, white house incumbent has bashed nba ratings, these 2 former athletes have an endorsement, trump supporters praise it, i have no issue with them expressing that opinion, but why double standard?
For those who may not know what I'm referring to, our resident know it all saw a couple tweets from some sports media personality and played it off as his own comments. Here are those tweets:
Jack Nicklaus and Jay Cutler don't represent sports teams, leagues or organizations. They are former athletes who no longer play professionally. Huge difference from an active league or athlete (like the NBA) taking money to watch them play and pushing their political agenda on their customers.
So jack has no influence on the pga whatsoever? Cutler not apart of retired nflpa members?

And who cares if an athlete or celebrity endorses a politician. Is Cutler wearing a MAGA hat, kneeling, walking off the field or any of the other virtue signalling moves?

You probably saw it because somebody RT it. That's how I saw it, then I come here and couldn't believe my eyes (until I saw who made the post, then I just laughed). You make the post at 11:54, this person posted her thoughts at 11:28 and 11:40. Yeah, no way that's a coincidence. Just admit it, but you won't.
I had a later morning, this morning i went to traina, deitsch, braziller, daly and pearlman twitter pages, i saw pearlman responded to what nicklaus tweeted last night and that the chicago sun times tweeted about the cutler endorsement. I also read thebiglead, ftw, outkick and awfulannouncing
What does that have to do with having it shown to you as you are watching the events? Should I expect to hear about Jay Cutler apparently liking Trump during a NFL game this weekend?

here’s something that makes sense: philly legitimately upset about cops using deadly force. riots/looting/protest ensues. the city bans the cops from using non deadly force to quell protests when they turn to riots/looting. great logic.
