You are probably right, but I’m not sure how “losing” two weeks really impacts teams. Those that went deep last year didn’t seem to have any issues in the portal. Outreach has been happening all year across the board and I’m sure teams know who is staying, who might stay, who is leaving or might leave, and have ongoing discussions with replacements.

Doubt it. Xavier named Miller while in the NIT a few years ago and Steele's staff coached the team in the finals.

Only the top two teams form each "Fox conference" can not opt out. RU was not a top 2 BIG team and they opted out.
