This is the worst game I have ever had the displeasure of watching in person lmao
This game plays on a loop in hell.
We avoided a disaster, thankfully. Learn from it, get better, and move on.
All our injuries? Aren’t we missing just 1 player (Coleman??) That caused everybody else to not shoot straight?
How many bags of coffee and pirate xmas ornaments do we have to sell to get 1 shooter?
Ugly and sloppy game. Defense saved the game. Take the win and build on it. Not making excuses but not surprised because of the roster turnover.
Down the stretch Jenkins needs the ball in his hands. Not Dylan or Dual who are both not good foul shooters.

Not going to panic and worry if we are going to be good or not. I thought Dual and Middleton were going to be ALOT more polished on the offensive end. Was shocked at how raw they looked.
It’s one data point…not dismissing the sloppy play, but also expected it to be somewhat rough. Sha emphasizing defense first and overall that is what won the game. Guards/wings are long and played good defense especially when they needed to. No issue with the effort.

What I saw last night was a team and coach trying to figure out what works. Luckily we played a team with less talent in the same position. The positives I saw were Jenkins offense and the overall team defense. The rest had flashes of good things like certain of Dual’s passing and Toumi’s shooting. The real issues to me last night were the foul shooting in the second half and the pace of our offense. We took way too much time to get into our plays and therefore the team did not gain a rhythm on offense. Against better teams we will look even worse at that pace. Lots to work on but I will take the win.
