I agree, but he had to reset the defensive assignments at some point I thought. As long as they win we are happy, but you can't give up that many points in the last 5 minutes.

Thank you for calling it out! It was driving me insane!! To have 2 timeouts in your pocket and not use them when we were all out of sorts was coaching malpractice. I even thought he waited a possession too long to call the first one of the second half. They cut it to 10 and the crowd was up. Call timeout, coach! Instead it got down to 8 after a shot clock violation on our end and a bucket on their end. Then he called TO and we subsequently went on our own run to go up 19. Then it all fell apart again and he never called another one.
He needs some serious help in that department. Where are his assistants? Missouri is a bad team. If ever that happens in conference play, I’d be surprised if we walk away with the win.
Proposed rule change:
In the last 2 minutes. Team that gets fouled has the option to shoot fouls or take the ball out and get it back with with whatever time is left in the possession.

They tried that around 1980 or so, pre-shot clock and had to repeal the rule before January.
Think about how bad that rule is…. You think it’s bad under the current format, well there’s really no way a trailing team can come back that way other than to overplay defensively. It would be horrible to watch.
