Game Thread: Seton Hall vs. Butler

Shaheen has definitely lost this team. He bitches at good teams. This is like beating beaten dogs. Plus, being a transfer you’re more or less a hired gun even the ones we have don’t carry ammo. They’ll be quick to quit on their coach, teammates, school as short slighted as that will prove to be for these guys.

I think Sha creates a toxic environment. He probably needs to talk to someone and do a lot of reflection

To think i donated more money than i normally do, and directed it to NIL. Just an absolute disgrace. NIL contracts should be performance based. And Sha should donate part of his salary to next year's NIL because he did not earn it this year.

In fairness to Sha, SHU administration set him up to fail. If we would have had Richmond and Davis, we would not be in this situation. With that said, we should not be this bad.

nobody would have said last year his environment is toxic. Everyone is searching for answers and the only answer is this is a bad roster. Passing, dribbling and shooting was overlooked for athleticism. Coaching is important but it’s irrelevant when you don’t have great players. You need great players to win in this conference. Rick Pitino is not 10-1 with this roster. Players gotta make plays.

But everyone here had him earmarked for next payday.
He's going at it alone some of these games, it seems, which no doubt takes a toll. Especially when you are on the focal point of every opposition's scouting report.

But I hear you. He is another one that got annointed a "star" based on a bunch of very good games, some in blowouts, with high usage rates.

This falls on Sha & the staff, a 30 point ass kicking at home by one of the worst teams in the BE. The team has quit on him & the fans are also quitting--watch what happens to next year's season ticket sales.
The apologists will be out in force citing playing shorthanded and of course, the coaches "get out of jail card" nil or P4P. No matter how you cut it--the blame falls on the coaches.

He’s missing a ton of easy shots.

No doubt. I’m a fan of Coleman. He’s a keeper. Perhaps he’s been off because of fatigue, being banged up, being the focal point of other teams scouting or simply human nature - that’s the type of player he is right now.

My point is the board tends to anoint “stars” too quickly and then gets disappointed when they don’t play like a star all the time. He’s a good young player and talent. He’s not a start. Yet.
