The last 20 seconds will get most of the attention, but the game was really lost at the FT line. Don’t care how talented the team is, there’s no reason to shoot 50% at home.
Basketball recruit rankings are by far the worst. You’re telling me Dual and Middleton were top 50 players in the NATION? Based on what?

Funny how we’re able to pay players and somehow our program goes backwards. Years of having to convince players to play for us simply because they like seton hall turned out to be easier.

Holloway will be gone in a yr. He can't let NIL and bad seasons tarnish his career, unfortunate but this is what school has become

It’s one thing to lose on a couple bad plays or bad calls. It’s another to nearly be 0-2 and look like a bottom of the barrel A-10 team after 80 minutes of pure bad basketball.

Gus was more than capable of defending the 5 today against Fordhams backup big as the starter spent the day in foul trouble.

The only thing that gives us any glimmer of respect is Sha. Players still want to play for him. When he’s gone we are done as a notable program

Just curious what the proper reaction of a team who plays a scrimmage and then 2 regular season buy games and doesn’t hit 60 points one time? It’s one thing when you’ve seen dumb play but also flashes of great play where you say let’s all take a deep breath and there’s a lot of good signs too. Pretty sure that’s not us right now.
You're right. Sha will certainly leave the program because of this. He's also a bad coach. And the hall will drop down to the maac
No question the team will get better, as this performance was pretty bad. Feels like an embarrassing loss, but frankly this is where our peers expected us to be anyway.

He’s had 4 months with these guys… looks like he’s putting 5 guys on the court who never played basketball

Oh ok. I guess we are going to question Shaheen's abilities now. Question for you:
What's more likely?
A. The team underperformed today because of bad coaching, or
B. This isn't a very talented team and it's going to take the coaching staff time to turn them into something?
I have to be honest, I don't see a great big east team on paper, or a very good one for that matter. We are going to need more than a few months of summer practices to get this team of transfers and mid major level guys to gel into something.
This isn't Sha's fault. This is what our NIL budget affords us.
I agree with you until the last 2 sentences unless you’re telling me you know Fordham has a bigger NIL budget. We should beat them on talent alone otherwise we should buy their players. It’s not about taking guys to develop for next year they could all be gone. It’s about winning now.
