Wusu played 31 minutes 1 for4 FT and usual 3 fir 7 FG why he gets these minutes no one but Sha knows.Gus should give all his minutes to Tubek Gus in 11 minutes no points and 1 rebound he looks like an average division 3 player.I wondering if Wusu makes more than60% FT in practice
they are the Seton f'in Hall Pirates. How can you not root for them.
The announcers said that free throw shooting has been a problem “this season”. Free throw shooting has been an SHU problem my whole life, and I am older than dirt.
Last season it was a strength!
Last season was a refreshing reprieve. Sha’s comments in the post game reminds me that he is concerned about a regressive step. The Willard and Gonzo eras were a nightmare.
I didn’t say I don’t root for them. Just that they make it hard.
Had to miss the 2nd half and OT but this was a good win.
Offense is still terrible while the defense is still fantastic.

Sometimes a hard fought win can be transformative for a team. We shall see.

Chaunce was terrific Zay adds a double double. Tubek adds a triple triple.
I thought dual played a good game. Has a way to go but he helped us win.
Scotty was a non factor after a couple of early good plays. wusu was sub par and hurt us when he was reinserted late. toumi had his worst game.
Both centers and gus were non factors. Prince makes a play but mostly frustrated me.
So for me, we beat a very good team. And we have a lot of room for improvement. I think that the guys who were out of it tonight can help us over the year. So like I said this morning, I am hopeful. (And i hope to become bullish lol )

I agree that Dual was pretty good. Chaunce Jenkins was playing at a Whitehead level in this one. Just fabulous. Composed and confident. If we got this one we should have a great shot tomorrow against Vandy.
The best thing about this win, and it was thrilling if you were in Charleston, is that it will shut up the relentlessly negative posters for at least one night.
So we’re only allowed to post in happy happy joy times? Losing to low majors shouldn’t be worthy of a post? Or should we be blindly positive like some here
I specially said “relentlessly negative.” No problem with criticism but some posters are one trick ponies. If you watched the game last night there were clear signs of progress. Yet some would prefer to only find negative stuff to focus on.
