Game Thread: Seton Hall vs Xavier

You know how a lot of people were pissed at Richmond and Davis for going elsewhere after last season? Even if Coleman takes less money to switch schools I wouldn't blame him.

Interesting that we held Conwell to 3 pts in the NIT final last year. He was 1-10 from the floor, 1 of 9 from 3. Today he has 18 at the half.

Also interesting he is on his 3rd school in 3 years. He could well be elsewhere next year....and then be a grad transfer to a 5th school? College basketball is surreal.

Why would any of those 3-4 come back?
In the meantime I'm just going to root for the team. No reason to treat this team like it's an NCAA or bust program. Just support the guys and hope for a few pleasant surprises along the way. No reason to rip them apart. It's just not a good team and time to treat it as such. These guys are about to enter the most mentally tough 2.5 months of their basketball lives. It's going to be a challenge to stay mentally engaged throughout this season.

He won’t have a 5th year. But when you leave him wide open this is what happens

Seriously????

Love to see Felton, Jenkins, Coleman and Middleton on the court for segments of games. They may get exposed on defense, but we still gave up 44 in the first half anyway. At least sprinkling some Gus minutes lends some excitement and promise for the future.
100%

Not to absolve Sha but Felt/Lyons are more to blame IMO. I don’t see how shaking things up in the Athletic Department could make things any worse.
the depth charge set to this season is blamed on roster building. sha swing and missed at damaged goods and diamonds in the rough. he wanted depth. he missed on depth and starters. shus lack of success is on felt/lyons in this day and age, but the level of stink we see right now is because of roster construction. these guys stink. they simply cant put the ball in the basket.
