Sha gathering the 5 who are playing and telling everyone else to get lost at the beginning of the last few time outs.
If you watch the games, you are witnessing one of the worst teams in Division 1 basketball and the statistic bear this out. A total embarrassment for not long ago a storied program. Shaheen is not the recruiter or the leader that many thought he was; could be in the toilet for years to come,
Give Sha credit if you’re going to criticize.
He came out with a different 5, challenged them to pressure 94 feet, probably read them the riot act at halftime (earned by the way) then stuck with the same 5 that was working until they started to need a breather.
Result? We are back in the game.
Hope flagman is ok and just some general soreness.
The kid on DePaul asked his coach during the timeout if they could increase his NIL to $25,000 next year.
We fought this half. Looks like this group ran out of gas. Gotta give them credit for for fighting hard. Need that fight for 40 minutes.
Really? Give them credit for playing the way they should based upon the scholarship and NIL money they are making?
It's moments like that which demonstrate that we can draw up effective plays that make it all the more frustrating we rarely ever do.
