Zagoria asked Gibbs after our loss Wed if he was coming back. His reply was
"Oh no, I'm definitely coming back. I'm at Seton Hall and that's where I'm going to be. That's where I'm going to finish it out."
Now know this. Gibbs has been telling everyone who asks that he's coming back. And to be truthful what else would you expect him to say at this point in time?
But that said I spoke last week to a former SHU coach who had just got off the phone with one of our current assistant coaches and he said the staff is very confident Gibbs is returning.
Hey, anything can happen but I take more solace from what our coach noted to his good friend on the phone than what Gibbs is telling everyone who asks.
BTW. Prunty, who was prickly at times with the Hall when he was with the Ledger was at it again when he noted that some at the Hall might not want Gibbs back because of the family's interference.
That's nonsense. There's not a single person at the Hall who doesn't want Gibbs back. Yes, his mom can be edgy at times, but many parents are like that with their children. That's why they're called soccer moms, or dads.
