Best news that we could have had this offseason, along with of course with everyone else staying. PIck up a ready to play big man and I would be as ecstatic as I possibly could be with our current situation.

I'm certainly hoping Gibbs returns and he has gone on record saying he would. However, things change. Especially in high-major college basketball. It's transient.

Hopefully nothing changes and he honors his word and returns to The Hall. He is a terrific player and our best player by a country mile.

Whatever "locker room issues" we had, well, you just have to blindly hope that they work themselves out through maturity and/or realization that what happened last year with the implosion is awful for everyone involved.

All we have is hope at this point. There's nothing to put to within this program right now that suggests we have top-down leadership to drive change. Quite the opposite after the past 5 years.

What's a little bit different about this situation is that Gibbs himself did say he would be back. Unequivocally.

That's about as close as you can get to a guarantee, but who knows. Until we get further along into the offseason, you just never know.

Until we hear otherwise, we must assume that Gibbs will be back. I highly doubt that he would make such unequivocal statements if he had any thoughts about leaving. This is great news and will make next year's team extremely competitive.

I will be shocked if he comes back unless our coach can improve the front court,which is highly unlikely.
