CALLAWASSIE ISLAND, S.C. – Senior Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) and sophomore Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) were named to the All-BIG EAST First Team on Friday. Sophomore Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) was named to the Second Team.

It's the first time in Seton Hall history that three Pirates have been named All-BIG EAST in the same year.

Go becomes the first four-time All-BIG EAST performer in Seton Hall history and he's currently in the midst of his most-impressive year. Already arguably Seton Hall's greatest golfer, Go shaved more than a full stroke off his stroke average to a BIG EAST best 70.60 this year. In nine tournaments in 2016-17, he has recorded seven top-10 finishes, six top-5 finishes and won the Princeton Invitational. He has five sub-par tournaments this year, including a Seton Hall par-72 record, 11-under par, 205, at the Loyola Invitational. Go's 7-under-par, 203, at The Doc Gimmler this fall broke the Seton Hall par-70 tournament record by six strokes. His last round this spring was a 7-under-par, 64, in the third round of the Rutherford Intercollegiate, which tied the course record. Go has been named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week three times this year.

Nagai enters the BIG EAST Championship with the conference's third-best national Golfstat ranking. In only his second year as a collegian, he has taken a major step forward, shaving nearly three strokes off his scoring average. Nagai was named Seton Hall Male Student-Athlete of the Year and had four sub-par tournaments, including a career-best 4-under-par at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. In 2016-17, he has notched three top-10 finishes, one top-5 finish and has 11 sub-par rounds to his credit.

Yeom also shaved nearly three full strokes off his scoring average from a year ago, settling at 73.57 strokes per round. He logged three top-10 finishes, including a 2-under-par, seventh-place effort at The Doc Gimmler, his first career sub-par tournament. Yeom's 4-under-par, 66, in the second round of that tournament is the second-lowest single-round par-70 score in Seton Hall history.

Go, Nagai, Yeom and the rest of the Pirates will take on the rest of the conference at the BIG EAST Championship this week in Callawassie Island, S.C.
