I spoke to someone yesterday who had a few SHU tidbits. One re the schedule that is posted on another thread.
Here I'll add a couple more.
I posted about a month ago that Anthony before he left the Hall as a graduate transfer talked to a friend of mine as he was leaving the gym and praised Gill unsolicited for his defense and shot blocking. That news was echoed by my source yesterday who told me that Gill is surprising everyone and has been told he's too good to play this year because it would be a near wasted season as he would only get 7 or so minutes a game backing up Delgado.
Gill is blocking shots left and right and is making life difficult for his opponent because of his quickness, athletic ability and 7-7 wing span.
The thought is he is going to make our offense so much better because he has the ability to legitimately challenge Delgado in the post and anyone who beats their man in the halfcourt offense.
