So I guess you hate Bloomberg too...lol.

“Leave governing to people who know what they are doing”....there’s a joke in there somewhere.... I’m not going to trash everyone from both sides but based on the public approval rating it’s still a good environment for an outsider to jump in.

Mueller is a Republican so that’s interesting.

I am not a Bloomberg fan as well. So that answer would be a resounding NO to Bloomberg.

You government lovers crack me up. Without the public sector feeding it, there is no public sector. Quite frankly, I bet thousands of these federal workers would welcome a private sector package and get out of the lack of business acumen that is the public sector - in all levels of government.

No one is saying we don't want or need a private sector.
We need both, we just differ on how much influence one should have over the other.

My view is that the government should act as a safety net (social security, Medicaid, etc) or only provide essential services that cannot be done (or shouldn’t - national security) by the private sector (ie. military). They should obviously have regulatory oversight and enforce.

Emergency services. That’s it. Privatize or cancel most of these programs and let free market competition take over.

Generally agree. Private sector is best suited for most of our economy. Public sector fills in what the private sector can't, or doesn't do that we need or value.
