Just won for the third time in the orlando event, they are deep and balanced will be top ten on monday

A really good program that just has the ability to reload every year and not have to rebuild.

How do they a catholic school in a mid major conference located in Spokane Washington do it and Seton Hall a major conference catholic school located in the number 1 media market in the world cant? always perplexed me

the one thing that makes it more difficult for us is that the biggest coaches and best recruiters all spend their summers in NJ recruiting the same kids we go after. I think that it has gotten easier after realignment, with schools like Cinci, WVU and Pitt no longer playing games in our area. If Willard was a better closer, we would be just as good or better than the Zags year after year.

The fact that Gonzaga stands out in its area is used well to its benefit.

If there were dozens of other similar schools surrounding Spokane they wouldn't stand out.

They deserve tons of credit for fully taking advantage of their situation.

Good point. For basketball it's the Pac 12 and... Gonzaga.

Just a terrific program. And continuously reloading on bigs.

What player wouldn't want to play for Mark Few? Superior coach, gets guys into the pros, easy-going, guaranteed NCAA's every single season you're there, & you know he's not leaving to take another job. Add in the insane home court advantage & you have a great recipe.

Gonzaga is an awesome program. Mark Few is a tremendous coach. Everyone (students, community, administration, etc.) at Gonzaga is fully invested in the basketball program. It's easy to look at them and say if they can do it we can do it.......but it isn't that easy. They do an incredible job, it's not easy to replicate their success. They are one of the top 10 programs in the country.
