I have spoken to Coach Gonzalez a few times recently. He is doing amazing.
His daughter is doing great and will ended up at an Ivy league school.
Tracy (wife since his 1st year at the Hall) is killing it professionally.
And Bobby is killing his coaching internationally.
I spoke to Jeff Goodman about doing a story on Bobby next week what the legend Bobby is up to now.
Bobby would love to catch up with everyone. He is very humbled and remorseful about how things ended.
At the end of the day Coach Gonzalez knows he was a pain in the ass to deal with. And moreover he knows we all hated him at times, me included
But let’s not play make believe as Gonzo use to say - we all know Coach G is a very good person at heart
And yes he is a little bit crazy, trust me all of us are crazy to a degree as well.
Finally, we DEFINITELY all owe him a lot for getting us started in the business.
