Great 7 min read from Axios today

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

Is there an off the rails on the consquences of 5 months of convincing Americans that an unarmed suspect was shot, only for the suspect to admit it himself to Michael Strahan that he was armed? The headline can be poor journalism and false social media posts lit the fire.

whatabout the unarmed/armed suspect?
whatabout Michael Strahan?
and of course
whatabout Kathy Griffin?
Lacking creativity as usual. And really never willing to address the whole issue, just isolated incidents. Sad to see I'm still living rent free between your ears.

The public found out about the knife fairly early on.

The public reacted to the video which is pretty hard to watch. That said, I still don't fault the officer. He has to protect himself and Blake left him little choice.

The MSM pushed the unarmed narrative for months. Earlier this month some were still writing about him being unarmed. Washington Post editors still let it get out there.

Fair point. Had seen that he had a knife a long time ago but honestly hadn't seen how it was reported recently. Wapo is clearly wrong there.
