Groundbreaking and open practice

If we are back to complaining about 20 bucks we really got to move the program to the MAAC. We are doomed.
$20 for one person is fine but for parents or grandparents who may not have a lot of disposable cash that $20 quickly becomes $120-$180 if you have a few kids. It’s great if those with the means or those who can’t go can help make the opportunity possible for others.

Yep, we have 4 kids and all came to Seton Hall games and lined up to get team posters signed, etc. No
way we would drop $80 for all of them to do this today. When you have straddled both worlds, this strange new reality hits home.

Relax, simple joke.
And let me add this.....

I greatly admire the fact that you put in so much time with your youth soccer team. That's a lesson we should all learn and the point I am trying to emphasize by helping fund the cost of the children by buying them free tickets.

I hope others follow that lead.

Then let's make a deal....Why don't I supply you with 4 free tickets and you pay the adult fee.

Pls adv......

I have reached out to the SID to have him give the tickets I am buying to the players/staff and have them disperse the freebies to the parents.

That kind out good will goes far. Hopefully some others follow suit and if so look for me or reach out to the staff on your own to do likewise.

Another great way to help with NIL.
Dan,
How can I contact you about this ? I’d like to contribute for the kids but unfortunately I am unable to attend?

Jim, too good on your part.

BTW, you are not the only one reaching out to me. And that was the purpose of this thread.

Please email me at Halldan1@comcast.net

And thank you on behalf of all the children.

Just received another email. This one from poster SHUMikechine.

He will coordinate with me to purchase and then distribute free tickets to the kids.

Keep em coming guys. All for a great cause.

What a great gesture, actually two gestures by Jim.

He buying 5 tickets for the kids which will be distributed by either the staff or the players AND he's contributing to the Mike/Paul offer to sit at a table for the Beefsteak. And since he will be overseas that week he is donating that seat to a person of Mike's choosing.

That's the kind of fan who represents all that is Seton Hall.

Kudos Jim.

With Jim, Mike and myself we now have a solid number of free tickets for the children. And I hope to get more pledges for additional free tickets for the children.

The possibility now exists that these tickets could be given to a group of children belonging to some type of club. With that thought in mind those that want to help as Mike and Jim did, please email me at Halldan1@comcast.net and we can discuss adding your pledges to the ones we already have.

Just got another donation of 5 tickets from poster doctorcb12. That makes 20 tickets for the kids and counting.

Keep it up Pirate Nation.

Looks like with the autograph signing coming Saturday we will finish with 20 free tickets on $400.00 donations. I have been in communication with Eric Liebler and he will ensure that the tickets end up in the proper hands.

Thank you Eric and thank you Pirate Nation. As always you have come through when asked. You have made the day for 20 youngsters who would not have had the means to meet their heroes without your aid.

This is a low cost way that every fan can support our NIL.

Ok, you have a deal! I'll pay 1 adult fee and you give the kids' tickets to the right people to distribute.
You waited too late to reply. I had to make a decision today. The tickets are out of my hands now and are being distributed by others. I wish you had answered a little sooner.

That said email me IMM at Halldan1@comcast.net and I will see if there is anything I can do.

Yes and thank you.

See my response and hopefully that bears fruit.

Emailed you earlier.

mbraue,

Hallball Events has already distributed the 20 tickets to a youth group. I told the school that I promised you 4 tickets so I will add to my original donation to cover the cost.

You are dealing with someone at the school, so continue to deal with him and have a good time tomorrow.

@mbraue,

hopefully everything worked out. I was there for the first half hour and didn't see you. Were you there with your children?

Tubek has the body of a 5 year NBA vet that’s showing up to college as a freshman
Off the record, Sha is very high on Tubek. Physically ready to contribute right off the bat.

Very disappointed I didn't get a chance to watch him in practice. I was hoping to see a PF who could give us 10 quality MPG or so.

Dan , your ongoing support of so many initiatives is truly remarkable! And the financial example you set is off the rails. My hat’s off to you.
Means a lot coming from someone who supports the school as you do.
