Heard poll referenced yesterday that indicated that them number one reason voters were for Harris is that they despise Trump; but primary reason voters were polling with Trump was economy, border and crime.

Polls are tightening over the past three weeks. Is this the why”? Every commercial in PA is on election, and I think people don’t pay attention especially to the mega stuff. Did notice today that the Trump ads have pivoted to showing pictures from the assassination attempt and helping the working class.

Is Harris campaign making a mistake by by king full negative on Trump down the stretch?

The more she talks the less likely people are to vote for her. She cannot answer any question truthfully. People would be lining up to vote for her if she just said Joe made some mistakes on the border, but I will handle it differently. Instead she blames Trump for the problems and people are turning their heads. Poor turnout is going to set her back, Dems know the biggest mistake was not going with Shapiro, he would be winning by a wide margin. Black males are not going to vote for Kamala, if Trump gets 20% of the black vote this election is over in my opinion. She started off with a campaign of joy and ending it by being ugly and nasty. Showing her true colors, laziness and disorganization will be her down fall. I could be wrong but don't believe this race will be close at all. Rather see someone else than Trump but both parties failed the American people.

If I was a true rank and file republican I would quietly hope that trump goes down and my party can go back to the Grand Old Party ways and that Harris fails and run a normal mainstream republican in 4 years .

Unfortunately, I think it’s more likely we’re going to have two more crappy candidates in 2028.

The best and brightest no longer go into government. They prefer private business where they can make more $$ and have a better life.Harris supporters are virtually all Trump haters,of which there are many, who are supporting her for that reason alone.

There are some good ones out there IMO, but the current system rewards extremes. Both parties have no one to blame except themselves.

Would love to see Haley vs. Shapiro but doubt that will happen. Unfortunately more good ones leaving than staying.

Of course that's true. You have to go further left or further right than any candidate should go just to win the primary. Somehow the guy who represents the middle 80% of the country never seems win the primary. Bernie could've won 2 democratic primaries if it wasn't rigged against him both times. Honestly wish we could get rid of the primaries because they're not working. At minimum fix them. The democrats have run 3 different candidates the last 3 presidential elections and they all suck. Republicans put the same guy up 3 straight times and he's not any better because if he was he'd be winning elections in a landslide.

At this point, there are very few undecided voters. I’d tend to agree that negative messaging would be a mistake at this point. For whatever reason, that’s the messaging her campaign believes will be effective for getting fringe voters who don’t love Harris but hate Trump to turn out.

The polls haven’t shifted away from Harris, her support has been relatively consistent since before the debate. Trump went down after the debate but is showing a recent increase.

I think it will be close. If turnout is near 2020, I think Harris will win. I don’t think turnout will be as high though so I’d still give the edge to Trump.

Ads about Kamala happy and proud of Bidenomics during Giant Eagle game are super effective. Of course they end the commercial with her laughing. Black voters getting strong messaging. Another observation this weekend was the back drop of both candidates rallies. Behind Kamala there was 100% females at her rally, there might had been a transsexual in the crowd but no men. Behind Trump was 85% males, construction guys, police, blue collar workers.
Big gender separation.

Disgusting comment. How do you know which of the 75 genders any of these people identify as? Also disgusts me when they do polls by gender they only list 2.

From 538 today….still a virtual tie, but first time Trump has edged ahead of Harris. He has momentum, but unless something unexpected happens, it will probably track within a point until Election Day.

What’s an unexpected major event? All unlikely but:
- Significant escalation in the Middle East?
- China blockade on Taiwan?
- P Diddy bombshell on one of the candidates?

Anything else rise to this level?https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2024-election-forecast/

i'll give you some credit that trump having a stroke or heart attack could still be on the menu

You are really a terrible person.
not following. is this any different than when you offer that biden wouldn't make it to the finish line?

who knows what that "secret " reason you had in your back pocket when you said trump would 100% not be the rep candidate. death is the only thing you have left.

none of these are my words really, but yours.

Caught a few minutes of CNN last night and Dana Bash did a segment on Jewish voters in PA. So many who do not like Trump but believe he's better to stop antisemitism and better for Israel. That's a demographic that is traditionally democratic that CNN was talking like they expect it to change this time around in such an important state.

A few percentage points here a few more over there and this race will be over. Losing points with Jewish voters, black and Latino men, union workers. Trump going to do a 3 hour interview this Friday with Joe Rogan. Talk about a demographic KH needs to get her message out too, he invited her and has 17 million listeners. Lots of those 17 million voters are men under 45. She turned it down, can you imagine the damage she would do in a 3 hour interview with some one calling her out when she doesn’t answer the question. She probably would request breaks to make 3 hours and not sure she even has a message to get out there to Joe Rogan’s audience.

Yeah, I think there will be a shift this year with certain groups but she is doing better with women than Biden did, so it really depends if she can get them to turn out.

The Jewish vote in PA isn’t unimportant but I’d tend to think that any movement towards Trump there would be made up by Ukrainian and Polish people in PA.

At the end of the day I think if there is a similar gender gap in turnout as there was in 2020, Harris will likely win. If more men show up and less women and the gap closes, then Trump will win.

Harris absolutely should go on Rogan btw. Really weak of her if she doesn’t.

How about Trump dodging her to a debate on FOX. Out of his comfort zone !!! All his events will be his same old rhetoric and talking in circles .

Exactly why she should be out there. Trump isn’t doing anything out of his comfort zone now, she should be better than him.

She should be everywhere selling her message.

Cannot argue your point, I think he comes off most of the time very bad in debates. I still think he should have taken the debate. He comes off almost normal when interviewed. Much more likable in interviews. Example Doctor Phil. I bet he does great on Joe Rogan. Harris needs to let people get to know her, comes off as a phony. She doesn’t appear comfortable in her own skin. She seems afraid to make a mistake.

I think Harris is making a few mistakes. The biggest one is she should be breaking with Biden more. You may think that's tough to do when she's part of the administration, but Hubert Humphrey's poll numbers did improve after calling for a halt to bombing in Vietnam. That was September 30th, 1968, and while he obviously lost to Richard Nixon, he did gain ground in the polling in his match-up with Nixon and George Wallace. It's probably too late for Harris to break with Biden in any meaningful way now.

It would probably be also good if she stopped touting the endorsements of neoconservatives. I'm not sure who that's for - the very few "moderate republicans" who existed in the first place have already made their minds up to vote for Harris. I don't think it helps when she tells the Univision town hall audience that she has Alberto Gonzales's endorsement. This is a strategy that convinces no one and, if anything, probably demoralizes actual progressives.

I think the Trump campaign is making some mistakes, as well. For example, I don't know why they stopped hammering on the economy and focused more on the trans issue. Republicans have hit the trans stuff very hard in the last several election cycles and results have shown that it's not a motivating factor for voters. Since he started pivoting away from making the economy a central part of his campaign, he's seen his lead on that particular issue erode in the polls.

Both candidates are their own worse enemy. Trump is transparently ignorant while Kamala is transparently deceptive. Trump constantly floats off messaging and Kamala avoids messaging at all. Strangest election of my lifetime, keep asking myself how did we get to this point. The only answer in my mind is money, our national debt explains everything (trillions of dollars) corrupts both parties, feeds the media, pays to create a narrative and controls we the people.

About a month ago I suggested that it felt like she was winning the key demographics in PA and that she would win in a close but comfortable margin. She has given that all away and although she might still win, it’s a toss up and the desperation heaves at Trump are making it worse.

Wheeling out John Kelly with the “Hitler references” two weeks before the election and pounding on it? Where has he been for the last year since the primaries started?

I know she’s been the candidate for less than 100 days but the answers to the most basic questions her team should have anticipated have been poor.
- What would you have done differently than Biden?
- When did you notice Biden’s decline?
- Why didn’t you address the border issues sooner?

"cackle laugh.. I'm glad you asked that question, lets talk about it... I was raised in the middle class..."

She is just so bad at this. There are very easy answers to those questions and she still has no idea how to do it.

You mean like Kamala telling us in every speech there's a duality to democracy.? Great strength and then oh so fragile.

Harris losing and getting desperate witness bringing out old John Kelly again, hitler talk etc You are telegraphing you are in trouble.

And the most basic of all

-ARE PEOPLE BETTER OFF TODAY THAN 4 YEARS AGO?
-What do you say to those who do not feel they are?
