Seems to me like they don't need scholarships anymore. Certainly won't be need-based, that's for sure. Let's also re-direct those Pell Grants to those legitimately in need as well.

There's little correlation between NBA rookie compensation and collegiate compensation. Two entirely different worlds.

Myles Powell couldn't even get a cup of coffee in the NBA...you realize how much he was worth in college though? Programs would have paid through the nose to get a kid like that.

Interesting thought, I would suspect that the NBA doesn't give much of a hoot. The 2025 draft projections is packed with freshman and international players. Would be curious to hear what Dehere 23 has to say on this
