Other visits of note include Jose Alvarado, Quade Green, Sidney Wilson, Nate Pierre-Louis. It's a very impressive list expected at #sjubb.

These are the kinds of things our staff has not done and why we are always behind the 8 Ball in recruiting.........

We're not even on the pool table let alone behind the 8 Ball when it comes to recruiting. On a more serious note , what you're seeing with the number of kids who are showing interest in SJU is the "Mullin Factor" as there has been so much positive press about Mullin that kids want to see for themselves just what all the hype is about and they lose nothing by taking a visit especially when you have a large number of other high caliber talent visiting at the same time. Mullin and his really good staff will be a recruiting force in the BE and it could begin with the 2016 class.

A few take aways

1) That's why coaches should embrace the media and use them to help their agendas. Our Coach doesn't believe in that.

2) Why you don't hire small time assistants. This was a major issue when Willard took over.

3) We don't get enough kids on campus. This has never happened while Willard has been coach, we get a kid here and there. Even with our official visits, we just didn't have many during the year.

Too much cloak and dagger plus I know more then everyone and I don't need anyone's help is why we are so far behind in recruiting. If we don't have an assistant position to give to a kid's coach, we don't get a highly rated recruit.

everything u said above is why Willard needs to be fired. He's a terrible coach, we're set up to have another terrible season, he's done nothing of any merit for SHU basketball while he's been here & he had done nothing before he was hired to merit even an interview, nevermind the job itself. I'm boycotting all games until he's gone (except Wichita State), and even if you don't join me, Prudential is going to be empty compared to last season. People in this area do not have the time to deal with this middling program right now led by a guy completely in over his head.

I'd be fine with him being fired in November, nevermind when he should have really been fired: the Theodore season where we blew an easy NCAA bid.

But he's an outstanding "X's and O's Coach"!!!! lol

The only reason we posted the damn bail er I mean sent in the minimum deposit is we finally said, this one shot is for the kids. If that clown is not out by end of BET next year we are probably never coming back. I mean it.

I understand your sentiment. But, I will take a different tact. I think we need to be at these games and voice our displeasure with Willard vocally at every chance we get. I will always root for our players but I want Willard to feel the heat at every game.

I am going no matter who is the coach. Not going is punishment for me.
