We were well prepared and coached today whether you like it or not.
Coach is having a pretty good year so far. That should make the vocal minority unhappy.
i never said this is the win that would get us dancing... but yea if i had the choice i want tourney experience this year. what arent you getting?
If I were what's his name's agent, I'd be meeting with the AD to get a contract extension before Monday.
Big credit to this team. They went into a very hostile environment against a team that destroyed us a few weeks ago and gave them a taste of their own medicine. Keep feeding Delgado in the post and Whitehead taking only the good looks and we are a top 25 team in the country. Sky is the limit if we keep these guys together.
I personally think this is way too harsh towards Willard. While he is far from perfect in every game(name a coach that is), I thought the game plan vs Creighton was on point and he should be given credit for that. This year especially I think that that the players are succeeding partially because of him, not despite him.
Far too often on this board people attack him, and while I get it I think the fans are a bit unfair at times. Just my opinion. Baring an epic collapse I think he will be given another year, and to be honest he has earned it.
Also as an aside, some of the fans that call Hall Line crack me up. Its like I am not watching the same game as them. Some fan called and complained about how the students missed class to go to nebraska and that upset him. I got a kick out of that. This is not the first year in the league for crieighton.
I mean, after the two epic (EPIC) collapses we have had under willard in such a short time i think he deserves everything he gets. up until this date choke artist is a fitting description. at the very least its fair to say he doesnt give off much confidence (clap clap clap). I think its fair.
