Let’s face it, Willard’s inability to consistently recruit good enough High School talent and turn to fill gaps (and plenty of them) via transfers is not a long term solution for keeping the program consistent and on solid ground. We‘re seeing this play out with the product on the court last night; mostly individual play with an apparent lack of chemistry/cohesion, whatever you want to call it.
If we go down this Wednesday night you need to keep an eye on who is giving up on the team since I think we’re saw some of that last night. A disgraceful performance all around. We’re not talking about young college students here, we’re talking about men given the average age on this Basketball team is likely 22+ years old. Show some pride and compete when you get down.
