CHICAGO, ILL. — Despite a bounce back performance from Isaiah Coleman and a career-best night on the boards from David Tubek, the Seton Hall men's basketball team fell to DePaul, 74-57, at Wintrust Arena Sunday evening.

The Pirates (6-16, 1-10 BIG EAST) were playing without starting guards Chaunce Jenkins and Dylan Addae-Wusu due to injuries. The Hall also found itself without Scotty Middleton for most of the contest due to an ankle injury suffered in the first half. The Blue Demons (11-12, 2-10 BIG EAST) shot 40.9 percent from beyond the arc with four double-digit scorers.

How It Happened
In this Windy City clash, the Pirates found themselves down 12-0 through five minutes of play. Despite the deficit, the Pirates quickly pulled themselves back into the game. The Hall went on 12-to-3 run, bringing the scoreline to 15-12, thanks to offense from across the roster. In total, five different Pirates scored during this run. The Blue Demons responded to The Hall's offense by expanding the visitors' deficit to 8, 25-17, with 6:47 remaining in the half.

Yet, once again, the Pirates slowly brought the game to them. Isaiah Coleman, rebounding from an off-form performance against Providence, continued to pump out points for the Pirates. Alongside Garwey Dual and Jahseem Felton, The Hall came within three once again, 29-26, with 4:35 left before the break. Over the final four minutes on the half, however, DePaul expanded the deficit to nine, 38-29, entering the break in Chicago.

In the opening minutes of the second half, both sides traded buckets before the Blue Demons slowly began to pull away from the Pirates. As the clock ticked past midway point of the second half, the Pirates faced a 22-point deficit, 59-37 with 9:58 remaining in the game. Seton Hall responded with a 9-to-0 run, highlighted by a pair of buckets from Yacine Toumi, cutting the deficit to 13, 59-46, with 8:22 left on the clock. After the Blue Demons expanded the deficit to as many as 21, The Hall cut it back down to 12, 69-57, with under three minutes remaining with a Prince Aligbe layup. The Pirates would never draw closer, however, and the team fell to DePaul, 74-57
