Game reported to be a sellout last night. If that was a sellout, they must be capping ticket sales at around 40,000 fans.

could see why athletic department will do whatever they need to make it appear they’re not pissing away tax payer $.

Every team, both college and professional, falsely reports attendance all the time. To begin with, they announce tickets distributed (sold + comps) as attendance rather than actual scans and even that number is often inflated. As far as calling a sellout, they have an arbitrary "sellout threshold" they need to cross (that's high but always less than a true 100%).

Yeah check out Wagner game where apparently they had 47,632 in attendance.

I read that they gave away 15,000 seats to this game. Unable to beat Nebraska on your home field, are they looking at 0-9 in Big Ten play?
