6 out of 6.8 million? There obviously could be more cases than this. But that doesn't sound like many.
While intent is to recommend getting vaxxed there is also a point that the general public has to believe it is safe....my hypothesis is that it was all women that at one time or another were on birth control for long ranges of time
Yeah you could be right. Just have to see what the conclusion is. I just hope people don't freak out over this.
There are treatments available and being used.
Reminder: The vaccines are still in a Phase 1 trial. This should not be a surprise to anyone.
What are those treatments? Why aren't they being mass produced? Why aren't they being publicized so people are aware of them?
Wouldn't that lessen the panic to give people peace of mind that if you do get seriously ill there are treatments available?
Bamlanivimab
Remdesivir
Convalescent plasma
Steriods
Hospitals are getting very positive results with all of them.
I think it's obvious why they don't get the same attention (nor does living a healthy lifestyle)
If it's so obvious what do you think the reason is? I can't for the life of me think of why they would suppress this information if it brings people back to health and prevents them from dying after contracting the virus.

I do not believe it is correct to say the vaccines are in a Phase 1 trial.
If you aren't aware then you aren't paying attention. Steroids are being administered almost as a first line treatment. Remdesivir has been talked about for months. The President took it when he had the virus. Bamlanivimab is not approved to my knowledge and I am not sure how widely it is being used. It has an EUA but it has issues. The man who can't get anything right can tell you all about convalescent plasma. He's been talking about it for months.
The way out of this is to stop the infections. Not treating them.
The more that this virus is out in the wild, the more of an opportunity it will have to mutate into something worse.
The vaccines are also extraordinarily more effective at preventing death than any treatment currently available.
Because they want to get as many people vaccinated as possible. So you minimize the other things that you could be doing to prevent getting the disease or recover from the disease. It is a scare/suppression tactic. I don't view it as control, but rather strongly influencing behavior. As I've said all along, it's a personal decision.
