Confirming what some of us already knew Jeffries believes democrats will like sheep believe everything he says.There were about 190,000 crossings in Febuary 2024 and 8,000 in February 2025 so obviously Trump not paying attention.He knows the sheep in his party will vote the way he tells them and they will support his statement in public but laugh in private.

I actually think he’s done a very good job on the border considering it’s all been done with Executive Orders.
- Illegal crossings have virtually stopped
- The shelters are almost all closed
- Mexico and Canada have beefed up security on their end
- Mexico just extradited 29 cartel leaders back to the U.S.
- The budget bill has a significant investment for border security
- Messaging has started to self report “or else” (although I don’t expect for that to have a material impact

And BTW, Biden could have done all of those things but chose not to.

Were five weeks in and deporting more illegals will require more resources and money which Congress needs to act on. I’m happy they are getting criminals off the streets which was the initial priority.
