This is pathetic. An NIT and screwing us over is no reason for an applause. Kadary could’ve told sha on day 1 that he was out and allowed us to move on. As critical as I’ve been about Sha this season, Kadary put him in a very difficult position stringing us along into MayI posted this on the Facebook. Seton Hall fans should show a little class and give him a standing ovation at the introductions for the three years and great memories that he has here at the Hall. None of the people booing or encouraging people to boo would turn down a job offer that paid you significantly more money from a rival company. As fans, I understand being disappointed that he left. But to boo him and claim him the enemy just goes to show how low we have sunk in our behavior. Show some class and applaud him in recognition of what he accomplished here. You can root for the Pirates to beat St Johns all night long after that,
For all we know, he told Sha he was likely going into the portal after the season ended, but waited a while for whatever reason before formally doing so. Or, he was waiting to see how things played out with the roster of our roster. This is pathetic. An NIT and screwing us over is no reason for an applause. That could be true and Kadary at the end of the day did what was best for him. The by product was that Sha was 6 weeks behind in the portal with a very limited budget. For all we know, he told Sha he was likely going into the portal after the season ended, but waited a while for whatever reason before formally doing so. I get the timeline for all this stuff mixed up, but my recall is St. John's got a commitment from Dev Smith before Kadary, and also struck out on various other rumored portal candidates they lost to bigger schools (including guards). So I don't think the KR to SJU was nearly as much of a done deal as folks seem to think it was or based on the narrative they've created in their minds.
I think there’s a lot to be said for this but doubt it happens.I posted this on the Facebook. Probably. He can’t shut up. Never has been able to. HOF coach, HOF mouth.
What’s pathetic is thinking someone should stay at a school to avoid your feelings of being hurt. It’s pathetic to think he should sacrifice the one big payday he may ever have so not to “screw” over Seton Hall. This is pathetic. An NIT and screwing us over is no reason for an applause. Dignity of the school wrapped up in the current allegations surrounding our president? Get off the high horse. Kadary made a positive impact on our program. Never reached anywhere near his potential, 0 NCAA tournament wins, 1 big east tournament win. The NIT is a participation trophy, not a reason for an ovation after a transfer to your rivalWhat’s pathetic is thinking someone should stay at a school to avoid your feelings of being hurt. Go boo and show an utter lack of class and dignity. But, it would show so much more that we as a Seton Hall community gets together and give him a standing ovation. Now that would be far more powerful of statement and demonstrates the dignity of the school itself.
They are buddies, I’m sure, so would be fun. As long as he stays away from the student managers lolWould love to see dylan guard kadary.
It’s a crappy situation. I don’t think he did anything like a social media post thanking The Hall. He was such a high-profile impactful player for us and spent 3 years here.To make matters worse rumors started to swirl that he was transferring to St John’s long before the season ended.
I want all these kids to get as much money as possible and if St John’s was the highest bidder so be it. This is business. However, the manner in which this went down (i.e. committing to St. John’s before entering the portal) leaves an EXTREMELY sour taste in my mouth. Plus the comments he made in his exit interview really ticked me off.
I’m not mad at Kadary for going to Saint John’s (I would have to), I’m mad for the way he handled it. Couldn’t have been done in a worse way.
Yes, let’s send everyone the message that you can transfer to our rivals with the biggest a hole coach and we’ll give you a standing ovation. Might as well have Sha tell recruits that we don’t care about competition or winningPlaying devils advocate, maybe cheering him shows The Hall is a place you wanna be? I know it means nothing compared to money but we need all the positivity we can get.
Any one need any other reasons for why I will Boo Slick Ricky?
This! It's almost as bad as fans diminishing every accomplishment the team and coach had last year! Idiots.Yes, let’s send everyone the message that you can transfer to our rivals with the biggest a hole coach and we’ll give you a standing ovation.
