Jerry on the game

“The second half we went more on-on-one," Holloway said. "When we ran our stuff, I thought we did pretty well, and then we started freestyling."

So maybe use a time out and get them back on track? Someone needs to introduce our coach to time outs. And if they were gassed use one before the game gets away from you.

Letting Villanova score something like 16 unanswered points before calling a timeout seemed completely ridiculous to me. I don't get it.

Probably because it wasn't really a quick run...more like a slow death over 12+ minutes when we only scored 2 points.

I'm walking out of the arena last night thinking wow our 1st half was great but in reality the 1st half was "normal" for most teams. We didn't shoot a crazy percentage. Wusu was obviously hot and the rest were duds. 2nd half is when we showed our true colors.

We run stuff? I mean, I guess a couple of flips, some dribbling in place and a forced shot in the last five seconds of the shot clock is running stuff.

It makes Willard's offense look like the Loyola Marymount offense of the early 90's.

As for the timeout, there were plenty of opportunities to use one. If players were gassed, all the more reason.
