Trove: After Seton Hall won the NIT Championship you tweeted ‘The Pirates belonged in the NCAA Tournament’ what were your thoughts on the historic victory as well as the circumstances behind their snub from the Big Dance?

Rothstein: I think Shaheen Holloway taught his players a great lesson in life - you can't control what happens to you, but you can control how you respond. It was a major injustice that Seton Hall was left out of the NCAA tournament, there's no denying that, but watching that team play and seeing that the disappointment of not being in the NCAA Tournament did not really affect that program's approach to the NIT is a credit to the head coach. You know Seton Hall’s run in the NIT further reiterated to me that the Pirates should have been in the NCAA tournament and watching them take advantage of their opportunity in the NIT was truly a remarkable story and it just reiterates the culture of the program.
