Honestly? I think that has always been the game plan.
Oh yeah...that's exactlly the kind of thing that a US President should get involed with. Most especially the current occupant of the Oval Office who would be sure to bring intelligence, keen insight and a genuine concern for people to the task.
College after NIL: eliminate student athletes, hire free agent D league players (unless your P-4), and pay the greedy******** what they want for as long as they want (usually 1 season) it since they’re special and more worthy than actual students RIP

Sort of like real life where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. More tax breaks for the rich. The gap between the rich and poor gets wider every year. The system has been fixed so those with money and power can influence the results in their favor.
Yeah, this right here is why you need federal preemption and an antitrust exemption.
