Kadary OUT

As he should be. If he’s hurt you don’t lose much by losing this one on the road to a ranked team.

Need to win against DePaul though that’s just a must win. I would only play him if he can and if needed then rests. If he didn’t make the trip though does he go to Chicago on Wednesday?

That’s an extra week of rest with Georgetown on 2/07

Game might not even be watchable today, hope I’m wrong but they could not run any offense the other night without Khadary

Just hope he is not out beyond DePaul game or we lose chance to be in big dance.

Not really concerned he's out. But why didn't he make the trip? Tell me he has class on Satudays LOL. I feel like I've seen many visiting players make the trip when they are out. Hopefully it's just precautionary and don't want him sitting on the plane that long.

Unfortunate situation. Season was looking up a week ago. hope he gets well soon and we see him on court sooner than later. Today is extremely tough spot without him.

you either play him against Providence and Marquette and shot your load for the rest of the year… or put your chips on resting him for 2 weeks and giving yourself a chance for the end of the year run…

Just really unfortunate this happened because of worrying about NET rankings

At this stage just get him healthy for Feb 7 vs Georgetown. We have a week+ off after DePaul on Tuesday.

Strange how "soreness" results in two games missed (and likely a third if he didn't make the trip). True soreness abates in a couple days for most people, especially athletes with access to the best training, PT, wellness resources, etc.

Something is rotten in Denmark.

ever sit on a plane with a hurt back?
Sorry it doesn't all add up. Played 50 minutes. Practiced lightly Monday and Tuesday expecting to go Wednesday. Sounds like playing Wednesday was possible til noon. Now it's so bad the flight is too much?

If it's that bad, a 6'5", 6''6" guy sitting crammed in on the folding chairs at the prudential center Wednesday night probably wasn't a smart move then.

But he held himself out against Providence not Seton Hall.

I had a bad back. Sitting in my chair at work was intolerable after about an hour. I would lay down on the floor. People thought i had lost my mind when they walked past. Never had so much pain.
i got a crank stand up desk for home for like $250 on amazon. amazing investment.

Don’t know what’s the upside to him traveling. Best he work on rehabbing what’s ailing him. Stay home he has access to the facilities on campus.

Since SHU hasn’t said much on subject, we all know he fell hard against SJU and played major minutes against Creighton, but it is always possible he hurt / re-hurt his back in practice after Creighton or did something to his back off the court before Wednesday game. Lack of info, just allows rumors to spread on this site.

He hurt is back against SJU and you could see it was going down his leg. Creighton just made it worse

It's typical Seton Hall and its poor communication from the sports info folks. The head coach set the tone in his press conference after the Providence game.

This post certainly is. Thank you for your medical background and input. Inciteful.

Don't need to be a doctor to know that soreness goes away fairly quickly. It's clearly something more than that, and Seton Hall is hiding it for whatever reason.

But if you want to go ahead and buy the company line, go ahead. I really don't care what you think.

That's exactly the point. This isn't that situation. That much we've been told. Seton Hall lets crappy info out and you can ony add up in your head what you know. It wasn't your situation clearly since we know he was practicing however lightly it was. It wasn't so bad the training staff told Sha he couldn't go.

Here's what we're adding up...
Hurt vs SJU
Grinded 50 minutes vs CU
Practiced lightly Monday and Tuesday (can't do if a sneeze hurts your back)
Coach was expecting him to play as of noon Wednesday (I'm betting on Sha having a pulse on the situation)
Was getting up to cheer on teammates Wednesday and clapping (wouldn't be doing if a sneeze hurts your back)

Thank you doctor. Your medical training and background is inciteful. BTW - the various injuries I’ve suffered over the years & resulting soreness must have been a figment of my imagination.

Back pain is a tricky thing

Doesnt sound as serious if he could practice. Maybe adrenaline kept him going

Carino reiterated its Kadary’s call.

Sounds a question of pain management.
