Simply took over the game in the last 7 minutes.
Scored at will inside including a highlight drive ending in a reverse layup.
Assists, rebounds, another highlight with a steal and pass over his head lying on the ground.
Breaking UConn’s will and my heart.

Pitino's team just plays such good defense. Sha's teams are nowhere close to SJU defense. I thought Luis controlled the game. Some posters here said SJU can't shoot. That doesn't make much of a difference when you play the way Pitino has the playing at both ends of the floor.

Kadary is in really good shape and he doesnt have to carry St.John's the way he had to carry us.

His usage rate is the lowest it's been since he was a freshman at Syracuse. Add the fact that Devon Smith can give him breaks bringing the ball up and it's allowing Kadary to play harder on both ends especially when they need a big play.

Luis was great all game but Kadary was the catalyst in the decisive 8-0 run down the stretch where the game was won. Scored 6 of those points assisted on the other with a couple steals and rebounds also.

Yes but for the game 4 of 12 and 0 for 2 from 3.

Let's not forget he has a great supporting cast that also makes him look good and can score when he passes to them. He is shooting around an atrocious 50% from the free throw line and 21% from 3 pointers for the current season. Can you imagine how he would be ripped apart on this forum if he was doing that here with this team.

He was pulled by Pitino in the first half for poor defense (I think) as he was rather lackadaisical and slow to defend the kid he was guarding or rather NOT guarding very well.

Please stop. Stats don’t tell the whole story with Richmond. They never have. The guy makes winning plays in crunch time. He’s a physical presence whenever he’s on the court. He’s playing like a 1st team All BE player and you post this stuff.

It’s not worth engaging. There can be little objective discussion on here about this topic LOL.
