Before last season I was pretty much on the fence regarding whether or not Kevin should remain as our coach. I was not happy at all with the team's lack of improvement or record down through his years, but I attributed much of his failure to the high degree of injuries that his team experienced. Last year's major collapse got me off the fence and I now do agree with many of you that he should be gone.
I did take some solace when at a year end booster club dinner, after one of our few late season wins, Fred Hill spoke and did an excellent job making a case for why the current coaching staff should be given more time.
Kevin is our coach this year. The team at least on paper is the deepest and most talented team of his tenure. The new season is upon us. I will start out rooting like heck for the team and just really hope that Kevin proves me wrong and Fred right!
