I have not been posting on this board due to health issues; however I am feeling much better, which resulted in me being able to attend two games this season; fortunately, one was our thrilling victory over Villanova. Additionally, I was able to speak to some of my fellow fans and some of my friends at Seton Hall. It was great to see everyone.
After the end of the Nova game I was very surprised that Coach Willard and his staff asked me to go to the back area where the locker room was located. There were a group of people standing outside of the locker room to congratulate the players, so I went into the locker room.
Willard was giving his post-game speech to the players; everyone understandably was very happy. I was standing at the side of the locker room when to my surprise and since I didn't see or speak Coach at all this season, he saw me and told me to join him. He introduced me to the players, etc. I was not only surprised but also somewhat embarrassed by the attention I received from the players, shaking my hand. etc., they are a great group of young men.
I just wanted to acknowledge how gracious coach was to me, especially after a hard-fought, tough victory. In fact, despite his time consuming responsibilities, etc. he always has time to speak to me, which I sincerely appreciate.
