After their fiasco against Kennesaw State, I’m starting to think that we have a shot to upset our overhyped rivals to the south. Looking forward to December 14.
One Clifford away from being a memorable yearWe have issues. So far this is a very unlike Pike team. Rebounding is beyond bad, not getting back on defense, not diving for 50/50 balls. Hopefully, this turns around quickly. It's very hard to watch now.
7 turnovers for a PF is unheard of.Nice stat line from Tae. Didn’t watch so don’t know how that translated to the game
Is he playing point forward?7 turnovers for a PF is unheard of.
Shut up. I shut it off when they went down 6 in OT with under a minute to go. Wife wanted to watch a late night tv show.Stayed up late and watched the game . Davis is the some player for Notre Dame as he was at Seton Hall, that is a mid-major playing for a high major team . Many times he drove to the basket out of control. With a one point deficit in ot Davis left Williams alone in the corner where he made a 3 pointer . On the ensuing possession Davis committed a turnover .
Notre Dame had a freshman on the court committing fouls in ot when they were losing. With 10 seconds left Allocco( sp ) hit a 3 pointer to tie the game. Rutgers inbounded the ball and the freshman intentionally fouled Harper. Harper made 1 of two foul shots for the win .
It is hard to believe if you did not actually see it, but EVERY ONE of those three consecutive three-pointers to tie in overtime was every bit as ridiculous as the one at the end of regulation. Every one an off-balance desperation shot. I never saw anything like it in all my decades of watching college basketball.Shut up. I shut it off when they went down 6 in OT with under a minute to go. Allocco actually hit 3 consecutive 3 pointers to tie it?!?!?
He also hit a ridiculous 3 point attempt to tie it at the end of regulation too.
Tae definitely makes a lot of mistakes and had a crazy 7 TOs vs Rutgers. However, I'd love to have him back at Seton Hall. He'd easily be our best frontcourt player & finisher in the paint and he makes his Free Throws.Stayed up late and watched the game . Stayed up late to watch. Harper and Bailey are really good. And agree Harper got a lot of calls, but some of his drives were impressive.Caught the RU-Bama game, Harper and Bailey were as advertised though they didn't seem to have much help from the rest of the team. Also felt like Harper was getting the benefit of a superstar whistle, but he took full advantage knocking down 15 of his 16 free throws. RU as a team was impressive from the line, hitting 30 of 35.
Oh absolutely, don't let that take away from Harper's performance. I thought he got a few generous calls but he was still the best player on the floor and Bama had no answer for him. Looks like they've got Texas A&M next.Stayed up late to watch. Harper and Bailey are really good. And agree Harper got a lot of calls, but some of his drives were impressive.
Assumong they play san diego state next. Interested to see how they perforn against a good high major defense.
